Beach Wedding:
Mixing sand from two vials, symbolizing the union of two souls.
Lighting of candles:
Each of you light a third candle, symbolizing that though you are united in marriage, you each retain your own personhood.
Roses for Mom:
Each of you give a rose to your respective mothers in recognition for the nurturing and love they have given you.
Water Ceremony:
Similar to the beach ceremony above. Red and blue tinted waters may be used and together they make purple, symbolizing the balance between the masculine and feminine energies.
